[KPOP] 2PM 'Thank You' Digital Single

Hey ho!
So sorry for the lack of updates/reviews.
I have been really busy in school so I am only able to update now. :)
Therefore, I bring you the latest review of 2PM's digital single, 'Thank You' which is for all the Hottests out there.

First of all, putting my bias opinions aside, I am actually quite touched that 2PM actually released a song just for their fans. The melody for this song is slow and has a slight R&B feeling to it. What's most beautiful about this song is the mood it puts you in. It really lets you feel how thankful 2PM are for their fans. I think the vocals were good and most surprisingly, Taecyeon sang! No rapping, just singing. Although it wasn't as smooth as the others, he gets thumbs up for giving effort!

I give this digital single - 10/10

[KPOP] After School Sub Unit, Orange Caramel 1st Mini Album

YAY! Finally the wait is over! After School's sub unit, Orange Caramel that consists of Lizzy, Raina and NaNa, have finally released their first mini album. Although I must say... It isn't much of a mini album. There are only 4 songs and 2 of them are instrumentals. Anyway, the MV for their first song 'Magic Girl' has been released and they look really pretty. I really like the dresses they were wearing... It is just so pretty! Oh, and CN Blue's Min Hyuk does a cameo as the girls' love interest. I am really looking forward to their debut stage on Music Bank! :) Anyway, here's my review!

마법소녀 (魔法少女) - This is a pretty adorable song. The whole melody of this song has a Japanese anime feel. It makes me feel like they might just use this song for an upcoming anime soon. I like how the 3 girls compliment each other in this song. They don't sound screechy or messy at all. [LOVE IT!]

사랑을 미룰 순 없나요 - A different song from the previous one. The melody for this song is slower and this song showcases their voices that you will never hear if they were singing in After School. It actually shows everyone that these girls can sing. I really hope that they will perform this song too. [LOVE IT!]

I give this mini album - 10/10

[KPOP] Seo In Young 'Lov-Elly' First mini album

This is Seo In Young's first mini album release after leaving Jewelry. I am actually upset that she isn't in Jewelry anymore but since she is now a solo artist, I will support her too. And, I would have to say that since I am a sucker for ballads, this album is love. Here is my review of her mini album.

잘가요 로맨스 - This song is the main track of her album. With a simple melody and the powerful voice of Seo In Young, this song is perfect. I really can't find anything I dislike about this song. She really sounds flawless. [LOVE IT!]

사랑이라 쓰고 아픔이라 부른다 - This song has In Young starting softly before going powerhouse in the chorus. Which really works for the melody of this song. Like the previous song, this song is perfect in its own way. I really like how she goes from semi-soft to loud. [LOVE IT!]

사랑하면 안되나요 - This song was actually the song she sang for IRIS. And, I really like how she sounds in this song. To put it in a corny way, I can actually feel the sadness of the song with her vocals. No wonder they got her to sing for IRIS. Her vocals really suits this kind of songs. [LOVE IT!]

가르쳐줘요 - I like how this song starts off with a simple melody and tambourine before the beat comes in. Although I would have to say that as the song progresses, the back-up singers are a little corny. And there is one part of the song where In Young comes across as a tad bit pitchy. Its either her voice is too high for the song or the melody key is just too low. [HMM.]

애인있어요 - The beginning of this song started off with a little guitar strumming before In Young starts singing. I like how the melody is slightly softer so that In Young's powerhouse vocals could be heard clearly. It really showcases her voice clearly without hurting the song in anyway. [LOVE IT!]

I give this mini album - 9.5/10

[MOVIE] Shrek Forever After

Finally, we've come to my first movie review! I haven't been able to hit the movie theatre in a long time that's the reason why there wasn't any movie reviews. But, I recently managed to catch 'Shrek Forever After' with my sister and here is my review!

I was actually looking forward to watching this movie after I saw the trailer on Apple trailers a while back. Although I am like other people who would be contented if they just stopped at Shrek 3, I was quite excited about this one. The reason being is that I am actually glad that they explored the side of Shrek who still longs to be the ogre he had been and Puss In Boots is so cute when he is fat. But, mainly, its about Shrek. I mean, yeah, he has Fiona and his 3 kids along with his best buddies, Donkey and Puss In Boots, but, has he ever wanted to go back to the life he had before meeting all these people?

The part I liked most about the movie was that Shrek had to make Fiona fall in love with him just like she did back then in the first movie. It was actually quite touching to see how Shrek realizes how much he loves Fiona and his life with her in it. The most touching scene would have to be when Shrek sorta 'disappears' at sunrise and tells Fiona that he was glad that he had fallen back in love with her. I actually teared up at that part. But, of course, Shrek didn't die. Its impossible to have a sad ending for an animation that is good with kids. Thus the movie is called, Shrek Forever After.

But, this isn't the end of the Shrek installment. Apparently, they are currently working on a Puss In Boots prequel which will star Puss In Boots as the main role and its about his life before he met Shrek. So, as a puss in boots fan, I am definitely looking forward to this movie!

All in all, this was quite a good movie for all ages. And the movie actually had certain star power like Ryan Seacrest and Jane Lynch from GLEE.

So, I am giving this movie - 4 :)

[KPOP] SS501 'Destination' 5th Mini-album

SS501 is finally back with their 5th mini album entitled 'Destination'. This is another band that has not been on stage for quite a long while. Kim Hyun Joong had recently gotten into a car crash and suffered injuries; thus not being able to perform fast tempo songs during Dream Concert. Hopefully he gets better soon for their comeback stages! Here's my review of their mini-album.

Let Me Be The One - I like this song a lot seems I am a sucker for ballads. This is quite a slow song with a beat. I can imagine that putting in a little bit of dance steps for this song. I really like the chorus a lot where their voices harmonizes as one. Its actually quite beautiful to listen to. [LOVE IT!]

Love Ya - I believe that this is their title track which had been leaked earlier on just like 'Love Like This'. The beginning of this song was pretty fast-paced and came across a tad bit messy to me. But, luckily the verses were not the same. I have pretty mixed feelings towards this song. At times, the song is nice and catchy but it also comes across as messy and quite unpleasant. But, they might surprise me during their comeback stage. [HMM.]

Crazy 4 U - I like this song quite a lot. Reason being that it has a semi-fast tempo which lets me move to the beat. I was actually thinking that this was going to be another fast track but I was wrong. This song impressed me. [LOVE IT!]

영원토록 - Another ballad which makes me, the listener, happy. I really strongly feel that SS501 are really good at ballads. When their voices harmonize, its like angels singing. I am not a huge fan of them so getting that kind of analogy from me just tells you how much they impress me with their awesome voices. [LOVE IT!]

Let Me Be The One (Acoustic Version) - This is just a stripped down version of the first track. But, I would have to say that I prefer this version so much more because the voices are clearer and the harmonization of their voices are louder! [LOVE IT!]

I give this mini-album - 9/10

[KPOP] 4Minute 'HuH' 2nd Mini Album

4Minute is back with their 2nd mini-album. It actually seems like forever since they last released an album. When they performed their comeback stage, I was really surprised to see how different they looked compared to their 'MUZIK' time. So, here's my review of their mini album.

Who's Next (Featuring BEAST) - I was really surprised to see BEAST being featured in this song. No offence but the only person that I could really hear is Jun Hyung. Other than that, the rest are pretty much mixed together. Compared to their previous intro track for their MUZIK mini album, I prefer that track better because it was more catchier. [HMM.]

HuH (Hit YoUr Heart) - When I first heard this song, I wasn't much of a fan. But upon hearing it more times, it actually gets catchy and I find myself trying to dance like them. The part that I really liked was So Hyun's part. It is actually something different compared to the parts that she had in the past. [LOVE IT!]

Invitation - I was quite surprised to hear Jun Hyung's voice at the beginning of the song. It was like he is turning to their resident boy rapper. Not that it is a bad thing but they should give people a head's up. I didn't really like this song because the melody is pretty mixed here and there. When the melody slows a little for the chorus, it came across as a little weird and it kinda made me want to skip next. [HATE IT!]

I My Me Mine - When the song started, I was like, 'Oh my goodness. This sounds like a Britney Spears kind of song.' And, I am not that wrong. It does especially when it entered the chorus. And this song has quite a lot of autotune which to me, felt like it was an overdose. Not my bowl of kimchi. [HATE IT!]

Bababa - I was hoping that maybe this song would be like another 'What A Girl Wants' and true enough, my wish was granted! I really prefer the girls singing like this. It makes them sound so much better, shedding the autotune and just singing normally with their voices. The song has a semi-slow tempo that still lets me move to the beat if I want to. [LOVE IT!]

Highlight - An upbeat song with fast tempo is what this song is. Again, autotune can be heard. But, for this song, it seems like its pretty much a necessity to have the autotune. This song is pretty okay but not the kind of song that I find catchy. I actually find it pretty annoying at times. [HATE IT!]

태연하게 당연하게 - This song is exactly what I am talking about by letting them sing with their natural voices. The melody to this song is slow and actually lets the girls showcase their voices. Most surprisingly was Jiyoon's voice. I didn't know she actually had it in her! She should sing more often! Overall, this song is quite a sad song but pleasant for people who loves ballads. [LOVE IT!]

I give this mini album - 7.5/10

[KPOP] C.N Blue 'Blue Love' 2nd Mini Album

Whee! C.N Blue is back with their second mini album and I am loving it! They have also done all their comeback stages and I am just waiting for them to clinch a mutizen. :) Although this comeback is a treat for us fans, Yonghwa dearie seems to be having quite a difficult time especially since he is suffering from a vocal cord nodule. And, because of that he actually underwent surgery so, this mini album is really put together with loads of hardwork. Yonghwa and C.N Blue, HWAITING! And, here's my review of the mini album.

LOVE - Hearing this song, I would always say, 'YES! C.N BLUE IS BACK!'. Reason being that this song is different from 'I'm a Loner' and makes me pretty much happy that they didn't let me down. I like how the melody is catchy and makes me move to the beat. I think it is pretty cute that they included a small segment of a J-Rock kinda feel before reverting back to the song. I definitely 'LOVE, LOVE, LOVE' this song. [LOVE IT!]

Sweet Holiday - I really like this song when I first heard it. Its different from all the hit songs that C.N Blue has sung. I just like how the song is catchy without much repetition of words. I really like how Yonghwa sounds in this song. And his rap is pure love. [LOVE IT!]

Black Flower - This song is pretty okay but kinda heavy for me. It sounded pretty close to a J-Rock kind of song. The only thing that I liked about this song is Yonghwa's rap other than that, the ending of the song sounded pretty messy to me. [HMM.]

Tattoo - This song was written and composed by none other than Yonghwa himself! When the song begun, it had a pretty catchy beat to it. I like how the song itself is a semi-slow tempo rock song. There wasn't much heavy playing of instruments which makes the song all the more pleasant to the ears, for me. [LOVE IT!]

Love Light - I have previously written a review of this song. And, I was very happy when they performed this song for their comeback stage. True enough, this song is just perfect on record as well as on stage. This has got to be my most favorite song of the whole album. I really like the acoustic guitar and the light drumming. [LOVE IT!]

Let's Go Crazy - This song was taken from their first Japan Indie album that they released. When the song started, I was like, 'Oh, it sounds pretty cute!'. And, this song is in English which makes it easier for International fans to sing along. I really like the chorus alot because its pretty catchy and I find it adorable. But, mostly, I am impressed with Yonghwa's English. It is pronounced properly and thus makes the listening experience enjoyable and not stressful. [LOVE IT!]

I give this mini album - 9.5/10

[KPOP] 2PM & SNSD 'Cabi Song'

So, 2PM and SNSD finally released their 'Cabi song' which is for Carribean Bay; a theme park. I still find it strange that they released a song for a theme park but it doesn't matter as long as it means that there is one more song for me to listen to!

Although I don't like the collaboration... 'Cabi song' is quite a catchy song that has me listening to it on repeat. After listening to it a couple of times, the lyrics just automatically catches on and I could sing to parts of the song. The part which I liked the most was Chansung's rapping. The funniest thing is that this song makes me want to go exercise while listening to it. Don't ask why, watch the music video and you'll know.

I give this song - 9.5/10

[KPOP] 2PM, 2AM, Super Junior World Cup Songs

Okay, so I am pretty late with this post.. I have been pretty busy lately and only finally found time today! Many K-Pop artists have been releasing world cup songs and its not a surprise that 2AM, 2PM and Super Junior joined the list. Here's my review of their songs!

2AM sang the song 'No.1' which will be featured on a official worldwide soundtrack of world cup songs which features artists from all over the world. A big honor! Anyway, I really like this song a lot because its such a cute song. The only thing that I really didn't like was the autotune. There was just too many in the song! But, overall, this song gives me a 'feel good' kinda feeling and makes me feel happy inside.

I give this song - 9.5/10

I was quite amazed when I found out that 2PM too, released a world cup song. And it is titled, 'What's Your Celebration?'. I have to say that this song makes me feel pretty warm inside. I can actually picture South Korean fans at the world cup match singing this song. Although the verses sound a little messy at times, the chorus manages to make up for it. Overall, its an enjoyable song that is pretty easy to hum along to.

I give this song - 9.5/10

Super Junior's world cup song is called 'Victory Korea'. Its not really sung by the whole of Super Junior but rather just Super Junior H without Kang-In. I am not really a fan of this song especially when the song starts because it always gives me a shock when I am listening to it on my mp3 player. This song is pretty okay but I find that there are some parts that sound pretty similar to MC Mong's 'Indian Boy'. And there is a part that sounds like it just came out from 'Sorry Sorry' but in a different tune. Not trying to be mean, but this song really didn't live up to my expectations.

I give this song - 7/10

[KPOP] MBLAQ 2nd Single Album 'Y'

Okay, I am not that late for this post since they just released their MV today. MBLAQ has recently released their 2nd single album and it actually feels like a long time since I last heard from them after they released, 'Oh Yeah'. Here's my review of their single album.

4 Ya' Stereo - Intro (featuring Taewan a.k.a C-Luv) - This was pretty catchy when it started. And, like I said, I love introductions to songs and this is definitely one of them! [LOVE IT!]

Y - Although I am not really a fan of MBLAQ, I really really love this song. Excluding the fact that there was a little bit of heavy breathing in the beginning done by Lee Joon but made me feel like it was Rain who did it. I really liked the beat and tempo of this song especially when it reaches the chorus. It isn't like the usual songs with super heavy beats. The arrangement of the song still gives the boys chances to be heard clearly. And, I really love the rap. [LOVE IT!]

One Better Day - I like this song. I like how it is so fast-paced yet sounds like a sad song. This actually got me nodding to the beat which is kinda hard unless it was super catchy. And, the chorus of this song is super duper catchy. And, the rap as verses is genius! [LOVE IT!]

What U Want - Interesting sounding song. The beginning made this song sound like a Jazzy song. But, as it gets into the song, it sounds a little like R&B mixed with pop? Otherwise, I only find the bridge before the chorus and the rap at the end, nice. [HMM.]

Last Luv - This song has a very Rain kind of feel but definitely different. I really like how the boys sound in this song especially since this song is pretty slow and they are heard clearly. Looking forward to hearing more of this kind of songs! [LOVE IT!]

The last two songs of the single album are instrumentals so I didn't review them.

I give this single album - 9.5/10

[KPOP] K.Will & Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls 'After The Bus Left' Single

This is a single released by K.Will featuring Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls. It is a late post too. Sorry!

I liked the idea of putting K.Will who has awesome vocals together with the power house rapper of Brown Eyed Girls which is Miryo. This song is actually pretty catchy when it reaches Miryo's rap. It has that fast pace/slow pace kind of feel to this song and that's what makes it catchy. When K.Will reaches the chorus, the tempo picks up a little and makes it a song that I could move to. But, I am not really happy with the fact that Miryo just does one rap... The two of them should seriously consider releasing more songs together, on a condition that Miryo gets more parts.

I give this song - 9/10

[KPOP] Super Junior 4th Album

I know, I know.. I am late with this album review. I haven't got the time to post until today. Anyway, Super Junior is back with their 4th album and have already started their activities like their comeback stages. I have to say, is it just me or Dong Hae worked out?! Most of them have physical changes and its quite a surprise. Not hating it though... more like loving it! Anywho, here's the album review!

BONAMANA - I had previously wrote a review about this song. And, upon hearing it again now, I have to say that it is quite catchy and has got me singing along. Although I gave it a 5/10, I still enjoy this song. [LOVE IT!]

나쁜 여자 (Boom Boom) - I wasn't really a fan of this song but the tune just keeps getting stuck in my head, thanks to 3 straight days of listening to this when they sung this for their comeback stage. At times, this song comes off as a little dirty to me, with the tune and the vocal almost making it sound like a seduction. What I really liked about this song is none other than Hyukkie's rap! He is the only thing that stopped me from pressing 'next'. [HMM.]

응결 (Coagulation) - This is a KRY song and although it is super slow and the melody comes off a little sleepy to me, the vocals are hauntingly beautiful. Especially Kyu Hyun. Thankfully, the melody kinda picks up a little towards the ending which makes it so much nicer. [LOVE IT!]

나란 사람 (Your Eyes) - When the song started, the first thing that popped in my head was, 'Oh my gosh! It sounds like the kind of song mum and dad used to hear years ago!'. But, Kyu Hyun and Ye Sung's voice saved the day. It is actually a duet between those two and I have to say whoever decided to let the two of them sing together is a genius! With Kyu Hyun's beautiful vocal and Ye Sung's husky awesome vocal, the song just automatically becomes a winner. [LOVE IT!]

My Only Girl - When this song begins, I wasn't really expecting much. The melody is just okay and the vocals, at times, sounds kinda messy. So, it doesn't leave a good impression on me. [HATE IT!]

사랑이 이렇게 (My All Is In You) - When I saw the title of this song, I was expecting this to be a good song and the boys didn't let me down. And, I heard Teukkie's voice for once, super clearly! It was a nice change from all the beats, autotunes for the boys; finally hearing them clearly without any other effects in the way. Best song of the album for me. [LOVE IT!]

Shake It Up! - I was thinking that this song wasn't going to be a hit with me but, I have to say, they proved me wrong. The melody is actually pretty catchy although when they got to the chorus, it was kinda strange. Of course, Hyukkie's rap with the beat of the song suits perfectly, making it a little fast for a while. But other than that, it is a semi-fast tempo song that doesn't get you moving. [HMM.]

잠들고 싶어 (In My Dream) - I was quite impressed with this song especially since I kinda thought this was just going to be another KRY kind of song. But, surprisingly, Sung Min and Dong Hae's voices popped up during the verses and they sounded like they could be members of KRY too. [LOVE IT!]

봄날 (One Fine Spring Day) - The piano playing in the beginning made this song sound pretty cute in a spring day kind of way. This song is actually Ryeowook's solo, which I find is about time he got one. His vocals toppled with the melody of the song is really beautiful and pleasant. It was kinda like this song was made for him and only him to sing. [LOVE IT!]

좋은 사람 (Good Person) - The song started sounding like one of those upbeat songs but as it got into the song, it didn't. It was actually kind of slow for me. The tempo of the song was a semi-fast one but the vocals made it sound a little slow to me. [HMM.]

Here We Go - This was what I meant by upbeat songs. It kinda has the power to cheer someone up too because I found myself smiling a little. The beat of the song with the melody cheers people up and I have to say that this is the sort of song that Super Junior sings. This song just elevates a person's feelings. I especially love Hyukkie and Shin Dong's rap towards the end. [LOVE IT!]

I give this album - 8.5/10

[KPOP] Brown Eyed Girls & DOK2 'Trauma Blue Brand'

This is another late post. Jea and Miryo of the Brown Eyed Girls together with DOK2 lent their voices to the Blue Brand Project to release this.

Love Is... - I love this song. The melody of the song sounds pretty sad but I like how Jea sounds here with Miryo rapping when she is singing. When Miryo starts rapping, it actually makes the song sound a whole lot more nicer! And, I love the ending when Miryo says, 'Love is not a game.' [LOVE IT!]

비누향기 (Feat. Gina) - I like how this song sounds like. The song has a very interesting beat and I found myself moving to the beat. But I really liked all the major rapping and the girl singing along in the chorus. [LOVE IT!]

I give this single - 10/10

[KPOP] Lee Jung Hyun '007th'

Lee Jung Hyun is back with her 7th album entitled '007th' and I have never really heard of her but since she has been compared to Lady GaGa, I thought I would listen to her album. So, here's my review of her album.

007th Intro - Basically just an intro. It is actually the intro for her MV 'Suspicious Man'. So, the track has the sound of rain, her walking into a pub, the music in the pub, her saying 'Hey Baby', the sound of glass shattering and a gunshot. Finally, the track ends with a 'Bad Boy.' Right. I love introductions to song but this one didn't make the cut. [HATE IT!]

Suspicious Man - I like how this track sounds like. The beginning is pretty upbeat and I like how she kinda screamed, 'I'm back!'. This song may sound a little bit Japanese when it hits the chorus but either than that... Its a pretty catchy song. [LOVE IT!]

Eenie Meenie Minie Moe - Okay, didn't Justin Bieber sing that? Anyway, this song sounds a lot like something Britney Spears would sing. Think 'Womanizer' mix with '3' and that's probably how this song sounds like. But other than that, it is pretty okay but I am not a fan of this song. [HMM.]

Vogue Girl - I didn't really like this song when it started but when it reached the chorus, it was pretty okay. At times, her voice in this song sounds a tad bit annoying but other than that, its another okay song which I am not a fan of. [HMM.]

Come On - I really, really dislike this song the most. She didn't sound very good in this song. Her voice was too high for my liking and the melody wasn't helping at all. At times, I keep thinking that this may be a Japanese girl singing a korean song. Sorry, I just don't like this song. [HATE IT!]

Open - I liked this song a lot. First reason is the melody of the song is nice and it is a slow song! The second reason is, Jung Hyun sounds really nice in this song. If I had to pick which kind of song she should sing, this would be the kind of song I would pick. It fitted her voice and it was pleasing to my ears. [LOVE IT!]

CRAZY - There isn't really much beat in this song that gets me moving to the song. The melody of the song is just not getting to me and she doesn't sound good in this song. Don't like this song either. [HATE IT!]

AVAtar - When I saw the title of this song, I was like, Seriously? Avatar? I get it that her English name is Ava but to name your song Avatar is just strange. But, this song is pretty okay despite its strange, strange name. There is a certain beat to it that is pleasing to the ears and the good thing is that she sounds good. Thank goodness this wasn't the kind of song I was thinking it was which was a song that would come out of the movie, Avatar. [HMM.]

You're Mine - The beginning of this song is pretty okay with the beats here and there but the one thing I didn't like about this song was her voice didn't really suit this song? [HMM.]

2night - Another song that suits her voice. This is a semi-slow tempo song that I find suits her voice alot more which makes listening to her in this song pleasant. [LOVE IT!]

Miro 1 - This track is just creepy for me. In this track, musical box is being wound up and then a melody plays for a few seconds before Jung Hyun is heard humming to the tune. At that point, I was pretty creeped out because this is what I would hear in a scary movie. And, at the last part, she had to laugh which made it even creepier for me. [HATE IT!]

Miro 2 - She starts singing in this one with her first two lines in English before singing it in Korean. And, the melody for this was taken from 'Miro 1'. It sounds a little creepy again but it isn't as bad. As it gets more into the song, it actually starts sounding pretty nice. It makes me feel like I'm in one of those fairy tales with a Prince and I'm dancing with him to this song. But, strangely, I like this song. [LOVE IT!]

I give this album - 7/10

[KPOP] Big Bang, Kim Yuna & Trans Fixion 'The Shouts Of The Reds Part 2'

YAY! I was waiting for this single to be released and it was finally released a few hours ago! Anywho, it was really interesting to hear Yuna singing in this one! And, yeah, she is Kim Yuna, the awesome Queen of Ice Skating. So, here's my review!

Okay, the beginning of the song, it sounds like people at a stadium shouting/singing along to the song. It was kinda weird for me but, hey, its a world cup song. So, there was a few seconds of them before G-Dragon and TOP raps. I loved the first verse the most because of Yuna's voice! She can actually sing too! And, the people at a stadium shouting/singing are actually the chorus too. But, the song on an overall sounds like a pretty fun song especially with Big Bang doing their thing and Yuna giving her fans a surprise by singing. Go Reds!

I give this song - 9.5/10

[KPOP] 8Eight 'The Bridge' EP

8Eight just recently released their mini-album entitled 'The Bridge' together with the MV for 'The End Is Coming' Featuring Nickhun of 2PM. I went to watch the MV earlier and I cried as I always have whenever I watch 8Eight's MV. For those who have yet to watch the MV, here's a sneak preview of what it looks like.

Anyway, here's my review of their mini-album!

Intro: 사랑이 간다 - This is just a track kind of intro-ing me to the next song where Lee Hyun talks in a sad way, echoing some of the words in the song. But, I am the kind of person who likes introductions to the next song so, I like it. [LOVE IT!]

이별이 온다 - I love this song when I first heard it. I especially love the beginning part with the word exchanges between Joo Hee and Lee Hyun. And when the rapping begins, it just makes the song sound even better. I really love how this song manages to sound sad even with the rapping. [LOVE IT!]

얼굴이 바껴도 - The beginning of this song is pretty okay with the piano keys playing before Lee Hyun starts singing. The only part that got my attention was when Lee Hyun and Joo Hee joins in singing. I really like how the two of their voices harmonizes in this song. For the rap, I wasn't really feeling it for this song cause it sounded strange with the melody. [HMM.]

STAR - I like the melody in the beginning for this song. It reminded me of an R&B song which for 8Eight's case works well too! I found it cute that the lyrics included, 'I'll be your STAR, S-T-A-R.' But, I was pretty upset with the fact that Joo Hee kind of only sung the chorus... However, I was impressed with the fact that Baek Chan didn't rap but he sang! [LOVE IT!]

유효기간 - This was a song they released earlier as a single but they included this in the mini-album. I like this song because it is something different from what 8Eight usually sings. Surprisingly, I like Baek Chan's. But, I didn't really like Lee Hyun's singing here... [HMM.]

Outro: The Bridge - This is basically like a song to finish the mini-album. It only lasts 34 seconds with Baek Chan rapping and ending it with 'A glimpse into the future'. I love Baek Chan's rapping but this was just kinda short for me... [HMM.]

I give this mini-album - 8.5/10

[KPOP] C.N Blue 'Love Light'

C.N Blue is back! WHEE! They are back with a new song called 'Love Light'. Hopefully Yonghwa gets well soon in time for their comeback stage!

So, 'Love Light' is a pretty cute song with a Jason Mraz feel and I find it absolutely adorable when Yonghwa says, 'I'm genie for you girl.' in his rap. A message to Seo Hyun, huh? None the less, this song is quite different from their previous hit, 'I'm A Loner'. There isn't any heavy electric guitar playing instead, its replaced by an acoustic guitar. Accompanied by light drumming and a little bass-playing, this song is perfect. Hearing this song just makes me excited to see them perform their comeback stage.

I give this song - 10/10

[KPOP] BEAST 'Easy (Sincere Version)'

I realized that BEAST needs a post too! So, here is my review of BEAST's sincere version of their song 'Easy'.

I like how the boys sound in the beginning when they are only singing with cellos and violins. They sound so clear and raw which makes listening to them even better. Then eventually, they sing with a semi-slow tempo behind but still with the cellos and violins. I am definitely most impressed with how they infused the rap together with this semi-slow beat tempo. This song sounds even better when they sung it live which means, please have BEAST sing this song more often.

I give this song - 10/10

[KPOP] Lee Hyori 'H-Logic' Album

Since I am doing some late reviews, I figured that the Queen of Pop deserves a review too. I absolutely love Lee Hyori. She is brilliant in dancing, singing as well as a comedian in her own right. Despite all the setbacks she suffered when her album was released, she finally claimed triple crown on Inkigayo! So, here's my late review of the Lee Hyori's 4th album, 'H-Logic'.

I'm Back - This song has a very upbeat tempo and it gets me moving to it. Besides that, when she sang this for her comeback stage, it was powered with awesome dancing by the queen. I really liked the fact that she rapped in this song too. [LOVE IT!]

Love Sign (Featuring 상추 of 마이티마우스) - I really don't like this song because of the tempo and the beat. I find it really weird. The rap in this song is weird too. One would think that maybe the rap would make it sound nice but for this song, it didn't really work out right. I am guessing its either the tempo or the melody of this song that isn't working for me. [HATE IT!]

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Featuring Ceejay of Freshboyz) - I LOVE THIS SONG. It was the first song out of the album that just really screamed HYORI to me. It is a song that suited her style and to put it simply, it was made for her. I like the fast tempo of the song that gets me moving to it and try to mimic her dance steps. Definitely the best song out of this album! [LOVE IT!]

Feel The Same - Another song that I don't really like. This being a semi-slow tempo song made Hyori sound a bit too slow for my liking in this song. And at times, she sounded really strange with that low voice she was making and it made me kinda afraid to carry on listening. [HATE IT!]

Bring It Back (Featuring Bekah of After School & Jiyoon of 4Minute) - Another song I love from this album! I liked how Hyori brought in the popular young rappers from After School and 4minute to sing with her. Bekah and Jiyoon are both awesome rappers and to include them in this hip-hop tempo kind of song makes the song stand out. And, of course, Hyori doesn't really sound like this is her element but she still manages to sound flawless and perfect in this song. [LOVE IT!]

Highlight (Featuring Bizzy) - I didn't like the rapper in the beginning of this song. He was so rude! I do not have a fat finger okay. Anyway, this song sounds a little like what The Pussycat Dolls would sing. Again, this is another song with a hip-hop feel to it. The only thing I don't like about this song is the chorus because I can't really hear Hyori at all. But, its still a pretty okay song. [HMM.]

그네 (Featuring 개리 of 리쌍) - When she first released this song, I didn't really like this song because it sounded a tad bit creepy to me. But, after listening to it again, it is something different and Hyori has never sung a song like this before. I like the western feel to it but at times, I still feel kinda creeped out when the melody and Hyori's voice meets. Its like the kind of song I would hear if I stepped into a haunted house and the lady ghost of the house is singing. No offence, Hyori! [HMM.]

Scandal - The beginning of the song was pretty cute but the part where Hyori kind of goes a little high isn't that pleasing. This song sounds a little like a cheerleader kind of song so I wouldn't be surprised to see cheerleader outfits if Hyori ever performs this song. I really like the telephone conversation in the song where Hyori kinda said a bad word and it was censored. Funny! [LOVE IT!]

100 Percent - This is a kinda weird song because the melody is just really strange and not the kind that I enjoy. At times, the sound effects they have in this song kinda annoys me. And, Hyori kinda sings in one tune only which isn't very appealing to me. The only thing that is a plus in this song is Hyori rapping. Other than that, this song comes off a little annoying. [HATE IT!]

Want Me Back - This is a semi-slow tempo song and I kinda like this song a lot. Even though the tempo and effects in the song can, again, get a little pretty annoying, at least it doesn't get in the way of Hyori singing. [LOVE IT!]

How Did We Get (Featuring Dae Sung of Big Bang) - I really love this song! Its such a cute/sweet duet! With just a simple melody, I like how Hyori sounds here and much prefer her singing here. Coupled with Dae Sung, it is just a beautiful song, in my opinion. Dae Sung is obviously flawless and hearing them together brings back memories of Family Outing. Aww! This song is another of my favorites from this album and it is the song that is played the most on my itunes. [LOVE IT!]

So Cold - Didn't like this song either. Another song that is too slow for my liking despite having beats here and there. Hyori sounded okay here but the song isn't complimenting her vocals at all. [HATE IT!]

Get 2 Know (Featuring Double K) - I like how this song sounds like. This is what I mean by complimenting Hyori's vocals. At least she sounds good and the song sounds good. [LOVE IT!]

Memory (Featuring Bizzy) - I was surprised when I first heard this. There were kids singing this song in the beginning. But, most surprisingly, Hyori's voice is heard beautifully and I like how she sounds in this song together with the cello and slow melody. The interesting part of this song is when she sings with the kids. Although it sounded pretty sad, it is actually quite a beautiful song. [LOVE IT!]

I give this album - 8.5/10
